The Big Bang Restaurant

WELCOME... and Goodbye for now
The Big Bang was the true gastronomic experience of Great Britain; classic favourites done with a bit of style. We sourced almost everything from within 20 miles of the city and in doing so, we allowed you to taste the authentic flavours of Oxford, not a chain restaurant version of it. We also threw in the best of our art, of local live music, all served up in the prettiest but quietest corner of town, the Oxford Castle Quarter, with a touch of eccentric British charm.
Thank you to all who did drop in and say "hullo"

Pigs across Oxfordshire are sighing in relief at news that Max Mason is quitting his Sausage HQ in Oxford, aka The Big Bang. Oxford will be a far less colourful place without him and his hair-brained, and enormously popular, schemes and bountiful enthusiasm. He will be sorely missed.
Here in the Oxford Mail he outlines his Big Bang journey...
