Music has always formed the backdrop to The Big Bang, whether that's in the playlists curated lovingly by us, or whether it's in the live music performances we've had every week for the last decade.

In addition to our Tuesday Tunes Jazz nights, on Monday nights we invite anyone to 'Sing for their Supper', playing the piano (when in residence) and even singing if they like. The better quality of musicianship will be rewarded with free meals, drinks and generosity. If you're not so good, the assembled panel of reviewers will soon let you know. Each week on Tuesday night, the restaurant forms a focus of Oxford's best live music; for only £5, you can enjoy live jazz from an array of performers, covering the whole array of styles of the genre. Usually starts at 8pm on Tuesdays plus other special events. Check our facebook page for special events.

 

If you need any confirmation of whether a week of jazz is your style or not, do googly them up. All have their own pages, so you can make up your own mind. I can guarantee they'll all be pretty marvellous.
